THE TUBULUS PHILOSOPHY

Purpose of a cable
As we all know it’s the purpose of a cable to bring a signal from A to B. In theory the signal must be exactly the same at point B as it has left point A. In practice this is never the case. A cable always affects the signal such as: signal loss, distortion, etc. No matter how good a cable is.

No perfect cable
So there is no perfect cable. Every manufacturer who claims so, is missing the mark. Good cables also can’t improve the sound. Good cables only do less harm to the signal.

The variables of a cable
A cable has many variables. Such as conductor material, conductor diameter, stranded or solidcore conductor, dielectric, construction, screening, termination, etc. So there are several roads you can take when developing a cable. Every turn you take has it’s pros and cons. So it’s very important that all these variables are perfectly matched to get the best result and get the most out of your audio equipment. For every type of cable (power cable, interconnect, etc) these variables must be applied specifically.

Construction TUBULUS cables
That’s why TUBULUS audio cables are based on pure silver conductors, because it’s the best electrical conductor of all metals and silver oxides are no problem for audio signals. To enhance these good qualities, we threat the silver conductors with a special thermo-process.
We are also convinced that air is the best dielectric for audio signals. Other dielectric materials absorb energy. This energy is released back into the conductor slightly delayed in time, which is an undesirable condition. Air insulation absorbs close to no energy at all.
We have combined the pure silver conductors and air insulation in a unique cable construction, which is based on tubes.
TUBULUS cables are terminated with high quality plugs, which are soldered with silver containing solder.

So get the most out of your audio equipment with TUBULUS high-end audio cables! The near perfect cable!
